Cubase is a digital audio workstation developed for the recording, editing and arrangement of music.

Steinberg – the German developer of Cubase – released the first version of Cubase in 1989, which was operable on the Atari ST computer. Since then the development of newer versions has been ongoing. The latest version: Cubase 8.5 was released on December 2, 2015. There are 3 versions of Cubase avaiable: Pro, Artist and Elements.

Current versions of Cubase support VST-based third party plugins, which amplifies the operative range of Cubase. Cubase is one of the top audio workstations; a versatile program, especially known for the recording and managing of audio.

Thijs De Vlieger from Noisia and Dub Fx are two of many known artists who work with Cubase.

All samples and presets of Typhonic Samples can be used in any version of Cubase.
